Our felt seat cushions make any chair or bench more comfortable: they not only provide padding for relaxed seating but also offer pleasant insulation against both cold and heat. A variety of colors are available, so you can choose the accent color that best complements your table and chairs. All cushions are handmade in Nepal from pure wool—under fair working conditions. Since they are handmade, slight variations in size and minor irregularities are possible. Also, please note that the actual colors may differ from those displayed on your monitor.

Oops—a stain? Wool is naturally stain- and water-resistant. If something does go wrong, blot it up quickly. Dried stains can be blotted with a mild solution of wool detergent (please do not rub the area) and/or gently removed with a brush. Machine washing is also possible, but please be sure to use the delicate cycle (wool cycle). Use only moisturizing soaps, such as shampoo or wool detergent, when cleaning felt products so that the natural oil content of the wool is not reduced. Then let it dry flat and, if necessary, iron with a moderately warm iron; set to wool, preferably with steam. Felt is a natural product made from pure virgin wool; it is durable and extremely tear-resistant. The phenomenon of pilling sometimes occurs on the surface of felt bags, meaning small wool balls form due to friction. Please never pull these bobbles off; instead, carefully cut them off with scissors or use a lint shaver, such as the kind used on wool sweaters.
