Dhyani Buddha incense sticks are rolled by hand without wooden sticks according to the traditional Buddhist method. The Box and the Material
Handmade Lokta Paper from Nepal
These papers are produced according to a time-honored papermaking tradition, an ancient craft in the Himalayan region of Nepal. The daphne (lat. Daphne papyrifera), known as lokta, used in production grows at altitudes between 1,500 and 3,000 meters. Lokta can be harvested every 2–3 years: The stem of the bush is cut off about 30 cm above the ground as soon as it reaches a diameter of 5 to 7 cm. This ensures regrowth and ecological balance.
